YoungArts x ISCP Artist Residency Application 2026
Residency Dates: April 1 – September 30, 2026
About The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP)
The International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) supports the creative development of artists and curators and promotes exchange through residencies and public programs. Housed in a former factory in Brooklyn, with 35 light-filled work studios, two galleries, and a project space, ISCP is New York’s most comprehensive international visual arts residency program, founded in 1994.
Eligibility
- Applicants should demonstrate an active artistic practice in design, photography, or the visual arts.
- We encourage applications from artists who are emerging to mid-career and are ready to deepen their practice through the residency. While there is no strict age requirement, the program is designed to support artists who are beyond their initial training or early student stage.
- Applicants must have prior exhibition experience.
Studio Space
The selected artist will be provided with Studio 303, a 233-square-foot windowed studio located on ISCP’s third floor (accessible by stairs only). The studio measures approximately 16 ft x 14 ft 7 in and receives natural light. Please note that the residency provides a dedicated studio workspace at ISCP; travel, housing and related living expenses are not included.
Location: International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP), 1040 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211
YoungArts and ISCP are pleased to announce an open call for the YoungArts x ISCP Artist Residency. One artist will be selected to participate in a six-month residency at ISCP, an internationally recognized space for artists to develop their practice and connect with curators, peers and the public.
